is everything in that article confirmed by the creators? that article says the game takes place in 2012 in reference to one of the cryptic numbers, citing the connection to the mayan calender. but, when i was playing i recall Vidic saying there's "a thousand years between you and your ancestor", and since the part of Altair's life you play through was in 1191, that would put the timeframe somewhere around 2191...right? unless vidic was just rounding up

According to the instrucyion manual that came with AC, the Desmond parts would seem to take place in 2012. I guess Vidic was just estimating.

who knows if hes just estimating or not. for all we know he could have tons of differant sources.

I rekon this meant that some of the game will be in feudal Japan and some in the old Aztec and peruvian lands.

I finished the game twice and I have something to say about that :

" During the game it's mentioned that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God and that it's a fabrication. The final email also mentions that artefacts related to Christ are probably fictiona"l.

I don't like this , there is not good for any people to say that , this is the think that make me disappointed about that game , because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and every thing that trying to deny it is a forced lie.

Dude, it's a game get over it. There have been plenty of movies that question the Bible as well. It makes for an interesting story because no one knows what the truth is.
