I've never played the original two but I have seen and read plenty to know I would like them.

Hmmmm. Fallout, huh?
I have heard that it is very anticipated, but I don't actually know what the games are about, what platforms/consoles they are on, I might have to look them up.
Is it coming to Xbox360 ?

Wow . . . That actually looks pretty cool. The trailer reminded me a little of Bioshock, but I think that was just the record-spun music. This might turn out to be a great game.

The song is by the Ink Spots. I believe there was at least one song by them in Bioshock.

Well me either actually, but after watching the trailers I think it looks pretty interesting.

Anyone played the original Fallout3 that was dropped due to the company going under or some such reason?

I can't actually find the damn thing on the site, but you can download where they had gotten to with it. Shares the same Fallout view and behaviour, though it is a bit rough, I've got to say I laughed when the intro screen arrived, it looked quite silly.

Though the global atomic war of 2077 left the US all but destroyed, the residents of Vault 101 enjoy a life free from the constant stress of the outside world. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are all no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering. Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security afforded by Vault 101 for reasons unknown. Leaving the only home you've ever known, you emerge from the Vault into the harsh Wasteland sun to search for your father, and the truth.

Fallout 3 is a huge game. This amount is a number of levels: first, the game itself is all over the world - a post-nuclear scars in Washington, packed with decrepit survivors, mutant beasts and marauding raiders. And then there is the considerable degree of change since the last game - the change of developer and 3D motion graphics.

It is the only game I finished and then immediately restarted. I filled a couple of times and I have reloaded, because there are still pieces I did not. You can be good or bad depending on your actions. The degree of freedom and the magnitude of the game is enormous. In my opinion, should be considered one of the greatest games ever made.

Fallout 3 is Oblivion with guns, lots of guns, except the game in a post-apocalyptic desert instead of a fantastic environment. The sense of exploration of open world is the same for me in both games, Fallout 3 improves somewhat as you do not really know what is around the next corner, a little scary in this area.
